Såg ett avsnitt av House i går som går rätt in här på nattduksbordet. Resumé (som blir ganska eländig eftersom jag missade början): House hade delvis minnesförlust efter en bussolycka. Han vet att någon - han minns inte vem - är svårt skadad men försvunnen. Men det som är intressant i vårt sammanhang är att House, med sitt undermedvetnas hjälp, letar sig fram till svaret på gåtan. Dels blir han hypnotiserad, dels drömmer han (lucida drömmar!) och dels använder han droger (inte helt oväntat när det gäller den gode doktorn...) för att framkalla hallucinationer. Den kanske intressantaste delen av avsnittet är när House drömmer/hallucinerar att hans chef Cuddy utför en pole dance/strip tease samtidigt som hon disskuterar sjukdomssymptom och verbalt leder honom mot gåtans lösning. Avsnittet i fråga heter "House´s Head", är episod 15 i säsong 4, och hänger ihop med episod 16, "Wilson´s Heart", som jag ännu inte sett...
I saw an episode of House yesterday that fits right here on the nightstand. Resumé (I missed the beginning): House has partly amnesia after a bus crash. He knows that someone - he does not remember who - is seriously injured, but has disappeared. But what is interesting in our context is that the House, with the help of his subconscious, is looking for to the answer to the riddle. He gets hypnotized, he dreams (lucid dreams!) and he uses drugs (not surprisingly with the Good Doctor...) to induce hallucinations. Perhaps the most interesting part of the episode is when House is dreaming / hallucinating that his boss Cuddy, is performing a pole dance / strip tease, while she discusses symptoms and verbaly leads him to the solution of the riddle. The episode in question is called "House's Head", it is episode 15 of season 4, and is associated with episode 16, "Wilson's Heart", which I have not seen ...
